AVDS is a complete VA/VM system that scales from a single server scanning 50 to 2500 IPs up to a system that can scan hundreds of thousands of IPs across widely distributed business units. Scanners can be placed in the network, the DMZ or externally. Reports are concise, easy to use and vulnerability details include CVE numbers, recommended fixes and links to additional remediation data from manufacturers.

Scanning and testing is fast, AVDS has the lowest false positive rate in the industry and it produces reports that meet all compliance requirements for PCI, SOX, HIPAA and most other standards.

AVDS tests the response of equipment and applications, like a manual penetration test. It tests equipment behavior instead of just checking the version. Thus AVDS discovers failed or incomplete patching and it doesn’t recommend unnecessary patch installation or upgrades.
